Our approach
Conceived and created during various lockdowns in 2021, Wellbeing Collective is our response to an ever-growing need to find ways to connect, re-connect and to always feel connected to ourselves, our various communities, our built environments and our planet.
At Wellbeing Collective we believe in mindful and sustainable practices, authentic voices and that our own wellbeing is directly linked to the wellbeing of others, and vice versa – so being kind and making purposeful choices makes a lot of sense to us! These values inform our editorial choices and partnerships, underpinning subject areas and articles.
About Wellbeing Collective
Our purpose is to provide an innovative online wellness community that will develop over time – a one-stop information hub, inspiration source and marketplace of new ideas, products and experiences, building on key wellness subjects, conversations, partnerships and pillars.
How it all began
Let’s call it a suite of experiences that led and compelled us to launch Wellbeing Collective!
Founder Gabrielle Cummins feels fortunate to have worked, lived and studied across publishing, marketing, parenting, sustainability, arts management and ashtanga and yin yoga teaching – in both Australia and Singapore. Coming to the point of launching Wellbeing Collective is a full 360 incorporating all these experiences! Importantly though, Wellbeing Collective is many voices coming together – our contributors and audience alike.
Acknowledgements
We acknowledge and uphold the traditional owners and their continuing relationship to the land and waterways on which we at Wellbeing Collective predominantly work – the Boonwurrung/Bunurong and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation. We extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
